How to Decide Which Option Fits Your Repair List
Start with the work, not the directory position. Write the list room by room, take photos, note the address and deadline, and separate ordinary handyman repairs from work that may require a plumber, electrician, roofer, structural contractor, or larger remodeling crew.
Ask every option the same questions: Do you handle each item? Who will do the work? Is Hastings part of the normal service area? How are labor, materials, travel, and minimum visits priced? Can several small repairs be bundled into one appointment?
- Choose a direct punch-list handyman for several small repairs across one or more rooms.
- Choose a seasonal handyman visit for window caulk, worn door weatherstrip, draft sealing, and door adjustment before winter.
- Choose a regulated trade specialist for major plumbing, electrical, structural, roofing, or other work outside ordinary handyman scope.
- Choose a broader contractor for a remodel, addition, or multi-trade construction job rather than a repair list.
